Dear Clients,

 

We hereby inform you that the venue and office hours of the authority in charge of authentication and notarization of certificates destined for abroad use have changed as follows:

 

Office hours:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30 – 11:30

 

Venue:

Budapest. XI., Budafoki út 60.

Building A (ground floor)

Directions:

Take bus 33, 103, 133 and 233 to Hengermalom út stop.

 

Certificates destined for abroad use can exclusively be authenticated, notarized and supplemented by an Apostille only if they were issued prior to March 1, 2006.

 

If you are not the person (the certified person or his/ her legally authorized representative) acting, a written legal authorization is required.

 

Authentication and notarization service fee:  

2000 HUF paid by stamp duty attached to the request form.

 

We hereby draw your attention to the fact that stamp duties cannot be purchased on location. The nearest post office where stamp duties are sold is located in Újbuda Center (1117 Budapest, Hengermalom út 19-21.(Opposite of the Office)).

 

Apostilles can be requested at and provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Dear Clients,

we would like to inform you that our Branch Office No. III. is going to move from the previous address, 1117 Budapest, Budafoki Street 60. to a new one: 1075 Budapest, Károly körút 11. Therefore, our Branch Office will be closed on August 29th and September 1st.

From September 2nd we will be open to the clients at 1075 Budapest, Károly körút 11. during our regular office hours.

Office hours:    Monday: 8:30 -13:00 

                          Tuesday: 13:00 -18:00

                          Wednesday: 8:30 -12:00 (only for students)

                          Thursday: 8:30 - 13:00

Call Center of the Office

 

In the framework of the project „The Renewal of the Office’s Info-communicational Services” co-funded by the European Integration Fund, the Office of Immigration and Nationality is launching its Call Center from the 1st of September, 2014.

 

You can reach the Call Center of the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing (since 2017) on the following number +36 1 463 92 92

from Monday untill Thursday between 8:00-16:00

and on Friday between 8:00-13:30.

The Call Center is providing general information in English.

 

We inform you that we are still unable to provide information about the status of an application on the phone!
